Feature: Henrietta Krueger

89 Years Ago: Henrietta Krueger died 27 March 1931 in Mt. Vernon, Rockcastle County, Kentucky.1 She was seventeen years old when she succumbed to influenza and mastoiditis.2 Mastoiditis is a rare infection of the bone behind the ear which can spread to the brain.3 Henrietta was the oldest of August Krueger and Susan Taylor’s four children.4 (*Half 1st Cousin, once removed, Taylor)

110 Years Ago: Lula Pearl Marion married Grover G. Shepherd 23 March 1910 in Fulton County, Georgia. Pearl was the daughter of James Washington Marion and Louise Anna Lanier. (*1st Cousin once removed, McCauley)

125 Years Ago: Cornie Hopkins was born 24 March 1895 in Harlan County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of William Columbus Hopkins and Eliza Jane Long. (*1st Cousin twice removed, Hopkins)
