Feature: Albert Elvie Hankins

101 Years Ago: Albert Elvie Hankins was discharged from the U.S. Army on 11 July 1919. He enlisted on 20 March 1918. Elvie served as a Private with Company B in the 62nd Regiment and spent part of his time in service with American Expeditionary Forces in France during World War I.1Albert E. 190 Years Ago: James Francis Taylor was born on 8 July 1830 in Garrard County, Kentucky. He was the son of William Taylor and Martha Ramsey. (*2nd Great-grandfather, Taylor)

July 11

73 Years Ago: William Columbus Hopkins died on 11 July 1947 in Gratis, Preble County, Ohio. He was buried in Germantown Cemetery in Germantown, Montgomery County, Ohio. Lum was the son of Eliza Hopkins. (*2nd Great-uncle, Hopkins)
